RCA Records. Digital Marketing Intern
Sony Music Entertainment, New York, NY

Spring 2014

 

​At RCA Records, Emily is in charge of researching and discovering noteworthy news, interviews, and new music material to display on the artists' social media sites (Facebook, Twitter), as well as their official site and RCA's official site. Emily manages these sites by writing copy and designing content to keep fans informed with their favorite artists' news. Emily is able to improve on her design skills at RCA where she created pictures and media for the artists' sites using Adobe Photoshop. She cannot believe how surreal it is directly contributing to RCA's success and artist promotion for the most talented musicians in the industry including P!nk, R. Kelly, Pitbull, Leona Lewis, A$AP Rocky, Foxes, and Alicia Keys.

 

 

Inspira Marketing Group. Account Coordinator Intern
Norwalk, CT

​Summer 2013

 

During the summer of 2013 Emily interned for Inspira Marketing Group an experiential marketing company in Norwalk, CT. Emily was able to directly work on and impact several activations for Inspira Marketing.  Some brands she helped set up events for included Bic Razors, Giovanni Rana pastas and sauces, Knob Creek alcohol, all laundry detergent, and Snuggle fabric softener. She managed expense budgeting for the projects along with the creation of premium giveaways for branding events. Post event responsibilites included company recaps, customer feedback compilation, and set-up of future events. 

 

Legacy Recordings. Marketing Coordinator Intern

Sony Music Entertainment, New York, NY

​Summer 2012

 

During the summer of 2012, Emily interned at Legacy Recordings in Sony Music Entertainment. Emily was in charge of customer and market research using Samis software in order to determine record sales, impressions, and consumer feedback. She helped manage and set up meetings for the office, sent out DVD and CD releases to radio stations and international counterparts of Sony Music, and kept track of FedEx and invoice expenses.
